About Course
About Program
In Girne American University’s Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, we offer a Masters program under the title Master of Fine Arts and Design, the aim of which is to provide an intellectually robust, creatively lively, and technically competent teaching and learning environment. We believe we offer an environment wherein graduates in fine arts and design who wish to develop and extend themselves in their chosen fields can expect to be both challenged and supported in their quest.
In completing their masters program with us, the candidates can expect a palpable sense of self–‐advancement towards developing the higher degrees of intellectual, emotional and technical competence whereby they can initiate and realize high caliber works of art. It is expected that through the encouraged processes of thinking and making, the candidates’ resultant works of art or design will reflect confident understanding of the interconnectedness of art, culture and society, and the ability to apply creative problem–‐ solving approaches in a variety of contexts.
