Course Description:

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the organisation of the body, and the structure, function and pathologies of the skin, hair and nails. You will also learn about the structure, function and pathologies of the human body systems including, the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive system. The human body works in fascinating ways. With over 200 bones, 600 muscles, and numerous co-dependent systems, there is so much to be learnt. However, even a basic understanding of our bodies can help us to comprehend how they function.

By taking the course you will gain a strong understanding of the amazing ways that your body works. The human body is a complex system that carries out important functions enabling you to move, think, feel, and live.

 

This course is also helpful to those learners whose local authority requires them to show separate evidence that they have studied Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin and Hair in preparation for use of a laser or IPL system to carry out aesthetic treatments. The course consists of a single theory module with an online post-course assessment.
